Does this amaze you or am I the only one????
by avidbiblereader ini will try to make this brief but how can you abbreviate love and kindness?
this is truly amazing!!!!
as many you have seen i ran into a small glitch on the forum the last couple of threads, without going into detail and really not necessary as there have been plenty of comments and views on both threads, i was willing to walk away from the forum because this is my nature as paul said in .

Interesting how even the most common pieces of "knowledge" have levels of controversy to them. In the Millenium, King David will be resurrected and he can tell us what he remembers. Surely, the others in the drama, or at least many of them will reappear to, perhaps even re-enacting the scene in one of the up-and-coming "new scrolls". The faithful must wait. For everything, there is a season. Turn, turn, turn: the pages will turn in the new scrolls. In the meantime, perhaps more intriguing stones will be unearthed. Even now, the stones are turned: turn, turn, turn.

The original sin
by onacruse inthis is a question i've had for a long time.. according to the biblical account, adam and eve's sin was to eat fruit from the forbidden tree.. now, ordinarily, when we get caught doing something "wrong," we try to hide the "offending" member (the child tries to hide his hand that has the 'stolen' cookie; we hurriedly try to pull our pants back on when mom walks in unexpectedly while we're masturbating, etc.)..
so, if the "sin" of adam and eve was eating a forbidden fruit, then why wasn't their first impulse to hide their hands?
or to wipe off their mouths?

Im sorry but this topic really is reaching. It makes no sense at all.
Please feel free to elaborate! Or does your represent the totality of your insights on this? The original sin reaches everyone, even those to whom it makes no sense at all. The wages of sin are paid to all who sin (al humans except Jesus Christ), and those who take on sin (Jesus Christ). The wages are suffering and death.

Original sin: Innate depravity (=corruption, i.e. moral deterioration) common to all human beings in consequence of the fall (=Adam's sin and its results). — the Concise Oxford Dictionary, 1964 edition.
Interesting that the fall is defined in the Bible as Adam's sin, though the Original Serpent and the woman (later named Eve) had sinned first, as noted by how the punishments were meted out in the latter half of Genesis 3.

It is loving to warn of negative consequences. It's taught by SuperNanny. How much moreso by JWs.

Maybe it was Elhanan that wrongly took the credit that rightly belonged to David?

Biblically there are no anointed and non anointed that's a crude doctrinal error produced by the FDS, all people are either christian and anointed or non christian and non anointed. Likewise there is only one mediator between men and God, that is Christ.
I read in my Bible every day. I read of Kings and Priests being anointed, and others too. The others in the Bible must not have been. I've been a Christian all my life. Nobody anointed me with holy water, or fire of holy spirit. How do you figure that I'm anointed anyway? Also, if I were a woman or boy or girl, I'd not be a man. In that case, who would my mediator be, according to you?

Of course, an added wrinkle is that Jesus was resurrected, so no body to be found and analysed. Had they been able to find it, they could apparently then have known, not only Mary's DNA but Jehovah's as well.
